How do I get someone to help me with a desktop/laptop computer issue?

All computing-related questions should be sent via email to help@broadinstitute.org. Please include a descriptive subject line, and include in the body of the email the name of the user, username, name of computer, building and room number, a full description of the problem including any error message(s) received, and level of urgency. If you later find you are having additional problems related to your original one, respond to the ticket email "receipt" so that a new ticket number is not assigned to the related problem. Mail sent to 'Help' is monitored Monday through Friday, 8.00am to 6.00pm only.
