We strive to implement initiatives, programs and provide resources for Muslims and allies at the Broad Institute by focusing on the following areas:

  1. Creating connections
    Hosting events that foster networking and collaboration between Muslims and allies across the Broad Institute, such as hosting events around Islamic holidays.

  2. Generating awareness
    Providing information to that promote awareness and dialogue between Broadies about Islam and Muslims, such as community lunches, book clubs, or attending local celebrations.

  3. Advocacy
    Collaborating with allies and Institutional leadership for policies, activities, and efforts to create an inclusive environment for Muslims at the Broad, such as providing a space where Muslims can practice their faith onsite. Click here for more information on the prayer space.

Ways to get involved with Muslims@Broad include:

  1. Join the steering committee
    Would you like to help steer the tone and direction of the group and/or help plan and organize events? Just email us at muslims-sc@broadinstitute.org if interested! It’s a great leadership opportunity as well as a fun way to stay connected with other members. We are always looking for Broadies to help advance our goals. 

  2. Attend one of our events
