If you’re an Institute Member, Institute Scientist, or other key member with a biography on the Broad website, Communications can update or create a new biography for you.

 

If the bio subject is leadership level, i.e., Tuesday Lunch Group member:

  • Send a request to communications@broad, including name of subject, reason for bio request, and due date. Please send along any existing content that may be helpful in writing a Broad bio (e.g., C.V., resume, other bio).
  • Communications will work with the subject to write/update and approve text, ensure that bio is consistent with Broad bio style, arrange a new photo or acquire existing one, and post on the Broad website.
  • Communications reviews bios on a semi-annual basis. If anything changes (such as a new title or major award), please send us a note so we can make an update much more quickly.
     

For all other bio requests, e.g., for a visitor or speaker:

  • Send a request to communications@broad, including name of subject, reason for bio request, and due date. Please send along any existing content that may be helpful in writing a Broad official bio (e.g., C.V., resume, other bio).
  • Communications will evaluate the request and notify requestor if request cannot be fulfilled due to constraints of time or resources.
  • If request is approved, Communications will work with subject to write/update and approve text, ensure that bio is consistent with Broad bio style, arrange new photo or acquire existing one, and post on the Broad website. (No PDF will be made unless requested.)
