Broad Office of Diversity Education and Outreach
The mission of the Office of Diversity, Education and Outreach is to increase the number of students, especially those from underrepresented populations, entering and succeeding in STEM careers.

YES Kids’ provides Boston youth with year-round outdoor enrichment and leadership programs. Its mission is to inspire and challenge youth with physical and mental activities that foster lifelong respect for self, others, and the environment.

CASPAR
CASPAR (Cambridge And Somerville Program for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Rehabilitation)offers emergency shelter, residential services, and life-saving alternatives to unsheltered homeless men and women who are affected by substance abuse, mental illness and medical complications associated with life on the streets.

Activity: Cook and serve dinner for residents at one of CASPAR’s homes for men and women recovering from substance abuse

ALS Massachusetts Chapter
The mission of the ALS Association is to discover treatments and a cure for ALS, and to serve, advocate for, and empower people affected by ALS to live their lives to the fullest. The Massachusetts Chapter provides no-cost services to ALS families which include support groups, home visits, insurance counseling, referrals to community resources, durable medical equipment loans, the Care Connection program, education, and support.
